Creative Scholarship and Research:
Joy Rosenthal has been in solo and group shows (ARC gallery in Chicago, the Buddy Holly Center in Lubbock, Texas, Mobile Art Museum in Mobile Alabama, as well as the Lexington Art League in Lexington, Kentucky and Wallace Gallery and various local places in Virginia). In addition, she has published an international book cover in Serbian, for the author Dr. Djordje Minic. She is interested in other art forms that can contribute to creating photography such as film, video, multimedia, and animation. Her primary medium is digital photography. She is researching and exploring time-laps photography, digital video and sound.
