Prospective students and their parents are encouraged to attend an Open House weekend session held by the University and the College of Architecture and Urban Studies, or they may choose to visit the campus at another time.

Admission Process

Prospective students have a 3 step process for becoming a School of Visual Arts Student:

  1. Apply to Virginia Tech
  2. Get on the Intend to Major list.
  3. Pass Portfolio Review.
