CURRENT STUDENTS>ALINE SOUZA
Graduate Student, Creative Technologies
My name is Aline and I work with watercolor paintings, storytelling, films and video games. I’m from Brazil and I have just started graduate studies in the Creative Technologies program. I earned a B.Arch in the University of Brasilia, in Brazil and an MLA in Virginia Tech.
I’m interested in creating stories and exploring a character’s personality and experiences, and in creating environments for stories happening in animations and video games. I’m also in teaching and in the exchange that happens in a learning environment. Being able to be part of a community and communicate my work to people outside of my field of work is very important to me.
In 2016 I was honored by the Landscape Architecture Department with the Student Excellency Award by the School of Architecture and Design for teaching as an assistant in the discipline Landform Function and Aesthetics.
